Canadians complain as soon as the weather drops below 15 degrees or goes anywhere above 25, but I think we’re lucky to live in a country with so many options - weather and otherwise. We didn’t, but the sky on this particular day (almost) made up for it: it was overcast, but didn’t rain. When I was young, our father-daughter tradition was canoeing around Hamer Bay. We’d get up early(ish), and pop the canoe in the water before the wind made it difficult to paddle.
